Requirements

Essentially:

Use a recent Linux or macOS operating system
Install a recent version of the Git version-control system
Install a recent version of the Lando development environment (which depends on Docker) OR
Install a recent version of the DDEV development environment (which depends on Docker)
You should have a user account on Gitlab, and an OCASI administrator will need to grant you access
You should have a user account on Pantheon, and an OCASI administrator will need to grant you access

Git version control system

In order to make changes to the site, you will need the Git version control system.

If Git is not installed, then you can run sudo apt install git (on Ubuntu) or brew install git (on macOS) to install it.

Lando development environment

We use the Lando development environment or DDEV development environment to automate local development, testing, etc.

If Lando is not installed, download the latest release for your operating system.

Pantheon hosting provider

We use Pantheon as the SettleNet hosting provider. If you don’t already have a user account, you should register for one, then notify an OCASI administrator of your new account so that you can be added to the Pantheon project.
